Stays knowledgeable of effective and research-based learning strategies through professional development. Participates in professional development activities to stay current with trends in the learning support field. Keeps learning management system updated with tutor, general study skill, and SI resources. Provides support to university programs, as needed. Pulls, manages, and reports data from RAPS/Navigate on regular basis for Tutoring Services. Facilitates components and tracking of student staff certification.ĭevelops, implements, and maintains a continuous improvement assessment plan for Tutoring Services programs. Resolves appointment process, appointment request, and session matters. Works with campus partners in provision of course support. Evaluates and updates student employee hiring process and training each year to implement most effective learning strategies and stay current. Recruits, hires, trains, supports, and supervises student employees for academic support. Promotes Tutoring Services though collaboration with other units within and outside the division. Facilitates access to academic support (e.g., Tutoring, Study Coaching, Supplemental Instruction) through communication and collaboration with units across the university.
